About Us

Two people.
One table.

Different roots. Shared curiosity. A deeper purpose.

Anorah

Culture. Flavor. Hospitality. Always.

Anorah brings heart, intuition, and a deep love of global cuisine to 227. Her passion for Indian food began years ago—researching regions, recipes, techniques, and traditions, always chasing a deeper understanding.

Alongside her Indian-inspired dishes, she brings the soul food roots, creativity, and natural gift for hospitality that make every table feel both familiar and new.

For Anorah, food is connection—a way to honor where you come from, explore where you’re going, and make people feel at home in between.

Reggie

Technique. Curiosity. Culture on a plate.

Reggie brings a foundation in classic technique, a love for French bistro cooking, and a lifelong curiosity for flavors from around the world.

With Ugandan roots and a deep respect for cuisine in all its forms, he approaches every menu with intention—balancing refinement and comfort, tradition and creativity.

For Reggie, food is a story—a chance to bring people together, introduce them to something new, and remind them how good the familiar can be.

More Than a Meal

227 exists at the intersection of our stories—where French technique, Indian spice, Ugandan roots, and comfort food all have a seat at the table.

The result isn’t one style of cuisine, but a collection of experiences, each with its own voice, all shaped by us.

And that’s the point—the reason the menus don’t all taste like one person.

Different perspectives make for a richer table.

The food is serious. We don't have to be.
